I am a 20-year-old boy. I have a girlfriend who is 29. I love my girlfriend. But my best friend has fallen in love with me. She does not know that I have a girlfriend. However, I know that if she proposes I can’t refuse her. What should I do?

You already have the solution son so why are you wasting my precious time? Obviously, if this other babe is your best friend, then go for her. Trust me, in times such as these, it is better to marry your best friend because a wife who you’ve never known before can be a dangerous piece of work. Besides, you are not as lucky as some of my friends who have a wife but then make their sister-in-law their love and best friend. So perish the thought of straying and dump your present girl and marry this so-called best friend. Do remember to call me during your divorce proceedings: I love seeing a fight between friends!
I am a single woman working in a public sector bank in a small town. I have always wanted a very successful career and because of this I have dumped a number of boyfriends. Some of them really loved me but I never really cared. But now I’ve begun to feel lonely. Should I contact the men who were once a part of my life, again?

Of course. Turn your life into some sort of Yellow Pages and then see how they all come back, have their fun and run for cover. Remember darling, they are going to do unto you what you did to them. As for your career, obviously it hasn’t gone anywhere or else you would by now have become the chairman of some silly bank or for that matter joined the Reserve Bank of India. By the way, which bank did you (or do you) work for? I have never seen such hard-working people in public sector banks unless they are on the brink of closure or a takeover.
