Alphonso Mango Gelato at Piccadilly Square: This 95 per cent fat-free gelato is made with special Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes and is a sheer delight for fans of the king of fruits. Available at both Lansdowne and Dalhousie outlets. Rs 80-plus per scoop
Mango Parfait with Lapsi Crumbles and Mixed Berries at Spice Kraft: Milk, powdered castor sugar, Himsagar mangoes, cream and eggs come together to make the creamy and tangy parfait. “Generally parfait is served with granola crumbles, but we decided to give it a desi touch with lapsi crumbles, which is made of ghee, broken wheat, sugar and nutmeg,” said chef Sambit Banick of Spice Kraft. Topped with fresh fruits and berries, this treat at the Hazra Road address is totally Instagram-worthy. Rs 175-plus
Piedmont Fern Raspberry Tart at The Westin Kolkata, Rajarhat: Custard flavoured with vanilla pods is mixed with freshly chopped raspberries in a pastry tart and topped with more raspberries. Your berry craving satiated in one go. Rs 350-plus
Fruity Bliss at Waffle Wallah: The warm and toasty waffle base is loaded with fruits such as kiwi, pomegranate, pineapple and cranberries, and then drizzled with honey and topped with whipped cream. 
Rs 120-plus. Add on some ice cream for extra Rs 40.
Mango Cheesecake at Cafe Mezzuna: Alphonso mangoes mix with the creaminess of mascarpone cheese in this summer fave at the Forum cafe. Order a whole slice as you just wouldn’t want to share this one.

Tutti Fruity at Scoop: This classic dessert is made with canned fruits, strawberry and vanilla ice cream along with a home-made jelly, nuts and whipped cream. The combo is a hit with loyalists at the New Market outlet. Rs 200-plus
Fresh Fruit Pizza at Eat Good Food: Savour the goodness of fresh fruits such as mango, apple, orange, pomegranate, kiwi and grapes on a thin-crust whole-wheat healthy base. A pizza that won’t give you a guilt trip, at the Ballygunge health food cafe. Rs 270-plus
Cinnamon and Apple Pie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream at Threesixtythree°, The Oberoi Grand: 
Crunchy and tart green apple meets the warmth of cinnamon in this pie. Served with vanilla bean ice cream, this one’s a classic. “I still remember the taste of the apple pie at The Oberoi Grand when I started almost 30 years ago, and hence keeping this on the menu is like keeping a tradition,” said Saurabh Banerjee, executive chef, The Oberoi Grand. Rs 550-plus
Assiette of Banana Split 5 Ways at Pa Pa Ya: The Asian dine den on Park Street serves this mean banana-based dessert that clubs a banana sponge cake dunked in banana toffee sauce with caramelised banana chips, banana chunks, and strawberry banana ice cream. Rs 425-plus. #GoBananas
Mango Fresh Cream at Krishna Juice Centre: Diced Alphonso mangoes and whipped fresh cream make it a popular choice at the Bhowanipore outlet. Rs 120
Caramelised Fruit Comfort at Haze: The cafe on Southern Avenue serves a fruity dessert loaded with freshly cut apple, orange, banana and watermelon, topped with caramel sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, fresh mint and a cherry. Rs 250-plus
Flap Jacks with Blueberries and Mangoes at The Salt House: These pancakes have a twist of buttermilk in their batter. “We use imported blueberries and Gulabkhas mangoes for a local touch,” said chef Auroni Mookerjee. Served with maple syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it’s a must-try at the Shakespeare Sarani address. Rs 400-plus
Mango Cheesecake at Paris Cafe: The goodness of fresh mangoes and Philadelphia cream cheese combine in this bite-sized cheesecake. You wouldn’t stop at just one.  Rs 180-plus
Raspberry Chiffon at JW Marriott Kolkata: The chiffon base is light and spongy and has fresh meringue folded into the cake batter. Chunks of raspberries add tanginess to the cake, which is loaded with mascarpone Chantilly cream. “Since the berries are imported from Holland, this cake is made to order mostly on a prior notice of around three days,” said Alok Anand, executive chef, JW Marriott Kolkata. Rs 1,652 for a two-pound cake.
