Games firm Perpetual Entertainment has secured the rights to develop a multi-player online game based on the legendary space saga, which will give thousands the chance to embark on a celestial adventure. The game is expected to be tested in 2006 and will go on sale the following year. But while players would be able to explore the universe and encounter alien races, any chance of stepping into the shoes of Mr Spock or Captain has been ruled out. But then, who?d want to be either of those weirdos?
