Professor, Emily, all came together as part of OTT theme decor in birthday bash

When you have a OTT theme there is no way we could miss SquidGame, one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The private rooftop lounge on the mezzanine floor of Roots was a dedicated Squid Game zone with minute details from the show.

One of the most popular shows that had guests dress up as the characters was Money Heist and t2 had the main bar at Roots turned into a Money Heist Bar. An 8ft Salvador Dalí mask made with thermocol and plaster of paris hung from the bar back, larger-than-life dollars and character names like Denver, Tokyo and Professor formed a major chunk of the decor in this section.

The Emily in Paris zone was the most popular one with guests who dressed as Emily, Mindy, Alfie and Pierre making a beeline to pose. Luxury brands, giant lips and signature floral backdrop made it a beautiful spot for Instagram!

Life-size demogorgon welcomed guests right as they entered Hawkins... nyah, Roots. The signature string of lights added to the mood of the party at the Stranger Things zone.

The Mirzapur section on the sixth floor was a clear fave with men! Guddu, Kaleen bhaiya and Munna adorned the walls with some of their best dialogues, while a giant gun jutted out from the ceiling of the cabanas.

“We first did the t2 party last time (in 2020) and we were super excited to be back doing the decor again this year. We were very happy to know the theme because there’s so much one could do with some top series on the OTT platforms. Emily in Paris was a clear fave zone for girls, while Mirzapur, Squid Game and Stranger Things were popular photo ops,” said Pepsi Kalwani and Shiv Karira, founder, UD Events, who were in charge of the entire decor of the party. So which zone was their personal faves? Emily in Paris for Pepsi and Mirzapur for Shiv and the duo came dressed as Emily and Guddu bhaiya too!
