For me, Saturdays are usually meant for work, as we don’t have the luxury of enjoying extended weekends. Sundays are basically meant for my daughter, Khushi and my husband Rajnish. I always make it a point to be at home with my daughter on Sundays because throughout the week, I have grueling schedules.
Recently, on a Sunday, we went out for brunch at the Lotus Caf? at the J W Marriott hotel in Mumbai. We spent two hours eating good food and my daughter too enjoyed it thoroughly. Sometimes on Sundays, we take her out to a park or to Juhu beach. Once we also took her to the Gateway of India and she just loved the steamer ride. Khushi feels very happy when both of us take her out.
I have a Bengali cook and so I really don’t have to bother about cooking at home. But if I want to have some special Bengali dish, I love to go to the Oh! Calcutta restaurant. My other favourite eating joints are Five at Santacruz and The Legacy of China.
Sundays also mean catching up on the latest movies and sometimes socialising with friends. This apart, I don’t like to party on Sundays and prefer to stay at home. In my opinion, an ideal Sunday is meant for complete relaxation and having fun with your near and dear ones.
