My weekends usually get mixed up with my travelling. Most of the time, I’m travelling because of my work and concerts. So, Sunday is like any other day for me. But yes, at times, it is nice to have the entire day to yourself.

What I enjoy the most on Sundays is taking a long, leisurely walk through Lodhi Gardens, especially in the evenings during winter. I do not really watch movies over the weekend, but the most recent one I saw was Rang De Basanti ? the premier show ? since I have sung a song in the film.

It’s rare for me to visit my home in Himachal during the weekend because most of the time, my schedule is choc-a-bloc with work. For me, Saturday is usually the day to meet up with friends in the evening since most of them work during the week. So we generally meet and have a chat over coffee. I do not eat out very often but I do like going to Olive Bar and Kitchen and Sapphire in Delhi. I love the courtyard and ambience at Olive. Most of the time, I enjoy home-cooked food and I’m not too bad when it comes to cooking either! I can whip up basic dishes like curry, pulao and rajma. For me it’s really not necessary to go out every Saturday and Sunday. At times, I just enjoy staying at home with friends. Sitting at home, you can have a good heart-to-heart conversation with friends, something which is usually not possible otherwise. We play music and also compose songs together. Since I’m not very fond of shopping, I prefer lazing around and relaxing at home. This way I get to spend some quality time with myself.
