Saturday is a working day for me and as such, my weekend is really short. That?s why, I try and pack up as much as possible within this time-span.

I try to wrap up work and go home early on Saturdays and take my son to the CC&FC or the Tollygunge Club. We usually just hang around there and chill out a bit. Later in the night, my husband Ratul and I go out with friends and basically have a good time. Our regular destination is the Shisha Bar where we party till late. I quite like this place for its ambience, music and the crowd. At the moment, I think this is the best place to be at in the city because here you can combine the lounge experience with that of a nightclub.

Sunday, for me, is usually a slow day. Since I am out all through the week, I prefer to take it a little easy on Sundays. During the day, I catch up with the household chores, spend time with my son and then land up at the health spa, Solace. We also go to the Shisha Bar once again and round up the day with a quiet dinner with family or friends. Our favourite dinner destinations are La Cucina and PanAsian at the ITC Sonar Bangla, Red Hot Chilli Pepper, and Chinoiserie at The Taj Bengal. Personally, I like to opt for either Italian or Chinese cuisine depending on my mood.

This is what a normal weekend is for me, but given a choice I would like to be by the beach, sleep all day and get myself a wonderful massage. Actually, I go on such trips as often as I can. The last time I went for it was in January-end to Koh Samui in Thailand. And boy, was it blissful!
