My motto for the weekend ? take it as easy as possible. I’m busy with shoots all week, right through Saturday, and given that we pack up pretty late, I hardly ever get the luxury of an extended weekend. Which is why, the one Sunday in the week that I get off is all about rejuvenating and recharging my batteries for the week ahead.
I’m not a nightbird and you’ll hardly, if ever, spot me at a nightclub or discotheque, partying the night away. On the occasions that I get off early on Saturday, my friends and I go for a late night show at Inox or one of the other multiplexes. We try and catch the latest releases and just recently, we quite enjoyed Salaam Namaste.
Sundays are sacrosanct as far as I’m concerned, and I hardly ever spend them with anyone other than family and friends. The mornings are always spent with my dad and mom ? it’s only in the evenings that I venture out for adda with friends. Shopping is also often on the agenda, for frankly speaking, this is the only day that I can actually get time to indulge in some retail therapy. I hit almost all the malls in town at different times, though Emami Shopping Plaza, Westside and City Centre are right up there on my list of favourites. I also eat out, though not too often, but when I do, I prefer Chinese. I love the food at Flavours of China and Mainland China, though I drop in quite often at Peter Cat and the Food Court at Forum as well. But all said and done, more than anything else, it’s the quality time with family and friends that I cherish the most.
