My weekend begins on Saturday night, when I invariably have a party to attend ? either a formal event or an evening out with friends. I am not much of a party person and through the week, there?s so much to do that I mostly end up spending my evenings at home. In fact, I would much rather come home than go partying every night. That makes the Saturday nights out even more special. My friends and I like to find out about all the new restaurants that open in the city and check them out and most Saturday evenings are spent in eating out.
Sunday morning begins with going through all the newspapers that I subscribe to and the first half of the morning is spent over coffee and poring over the magazines and special Sunday papers. Since I live with my parents, this is the time I can do odd jobs for them and for the house and get all the small household chores done that get neglected through the week. And I take my time over these little chores ? even cleaning up my cupboard takes me ages and keeps me occupied almost all through the day.
Lunch is usually with the family, either at home or eating out at some quiet place. In winters, I often go out for coffee with friends in the late afternoon, but after that I?m usually back at home and stir out only if there?s something major happening ? some event that I have to attend. I am very much a home-bound person and it would take something very exciting indeed to tempt me to go out during the weekends.
