Style according to you is…

Style is something that makes you feel beautiful, confident and comfortable. It should be understated but should be able to turn heads at the same time.

Five items in your closet you can’t do without

It has to be my blue jeans, white shirts, good lingerie, a pair of black shoes and some favourite perfumes.

Most extravagant buy

I don’t go overboard when shopping so I rarely buy extravagant items.

What kind of a shopper are you?

I am an impulsive shopper and whenever I see good stuff, I can’t hold myself back from buying it. I wish I could resist temptation.

Favourite shopping destination

There are no fixed splurge-stops as I can shop anywhere and everywhere. All one has to do is to keep one’s eyes open even when browsing around — whether at roadside shops or in fancy malls.

You have a fetish for

Bright accessories and good shoes.

Favourite accessories

I love beaded necklaces and wear these with colourful bangles in wood, plastic or glass.

If money were no object, what would you add to your closet?

I would keep adding beautiful garments and shoes — something I’ll never tire of doing.

The trend you are sporting at the moment

I am sporting a casual look which is a mix-and-match of colourful tops paired with jeans and skirts.

Indian designers whose creations you love wearing

My favourite designers are Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Swapan-Seema, Dev R Nil and Soumitro Mondal.

On a date, you’d be seen wearing?

To begin with I need to find the right man.

Is there any outfit you love to wear but your family hates?

My family hates to see me in my well-worn (and perhaps) dirty pair of jeans.

Whose closet do you envy and why?

I envy Preity Zinta’s sartorial style. She is bubbly yet very feminine.

One aspect of fashion that bugs you the most…

Fashion is changing every moment and it’s annoying to perpetually watch out for new trends.

Your desert uniform…

My birthday suit and sunscreen.

If you could change any one of your features, what would it be?

Nothing really, though I always wanted more grey cells.

A fashion tip...

One should always wear something comfortable and carry it confidently.
