A sunny January afternoon by the lakeside was spent shopping sustainable clothing, gorging on gourmet food and picking out home decor items, all carrying forward the club’s concept of living green.

Bright indigenous prints on breathable cottons at Spree by Avarna Bhartia were a big hit among shoppers in the apparel section.
A wide range of clutch bags on display at the Krimson stall, especially the wood and metal varieties, found many takers.
What’s a Farmers’ Market without organic food options? The Living Free stall took care of that with their spread of organic, healthy food, including gourmet teas and Cheddar loaves and granola.

“We had organised the Farmers’ Market in keeping with our club’s idea of going green and it is heartening to see the turnout and guests having fun,” said Surendra Bagri, chairman, entertainment committee of the club.

The gourmet stall — that housed Truffles & Cheese, Pierre Herme, Sprungli and Laduree, curated by S.R. International — was clearly the crowd fave with a selection of cheese, chocolates and macaroons. The pop picks were the Parmesan cheese (above at the Truffles & Cheese counter and the macaroons at Laduree.
The Chip N Dale stalls kept the kids engaged with fun activities such as flower arrangement, salad-making and calender-making, while their parents got busy shopping.
