Fashion labels from around the country are set to showcase at Stylefile 2017, with t2

Nachiket Barve, who “really likes” Calcutta, will bring a line especially curated for Stylefile. “It is an adaptation of my Lakme Fashion Week collection, Theia. The kind of women who come to shop at Stylefile is really varied. I am doing tunics and dresses in crushed silk, which is perfect for winter when you don’t want to layer too much. There are lots of jewel tones, fine thread embroidery for those who want subtlety and there is also beading and metallic accents for the party season. There are easy pieces for the trousseau… like pieces for destination weddings… things people can easily buy and wear in various ways,” Nachiket told t2. The Mumbai-based designer likes the “curated tour” feel at Stylefile. “Sumedha (Saraogi) and Preeti (Goenka) are both stylish people and their sensibilities percolate down to every aspect of how it’s put together. There is a sense of intimacy to it which is really nice,” he added.
