The shirt is going under the dress or the skirt, thus showing off its hemline because the shirt is longer than the dress.
The Bolly girls are thinking out of the box — shirt under dress or denim skirt or shorts — while mixing and matching the two pieces. And the vibe can be anything from cute to sexy, depending on the pairing.
Trust Alia Bhatt to say yes to experimenting when it comes to fashion. The Badrinath ki Dulhania actress did the dress-over-shirt trend way before the rest of the Bolly brigade caught on — back in December last year. And recently she brought on her A-game by pairing a striped buttoned-up shirt with a solid blue off-shoulder dress with feminine lace detailing. The #cutiepie look was accentuated with soft blown-out curls.
