Ten finalists of Easel presents Anandalok Short Cut, a short film competition, gathered at Priya cinema on June 6 for the final round. The competition saw participants register their short films online, from which the finalists were chosen. The judges included actress Paoli Dam, actor Anirban Bhattacharya, Esha Dutta of Burnt Garlic and director Arun Roy. Actors Om and Ushasie were present as special guests on the final day.

Sourab Pal won for his Sound of Silence. While Indronil Samanta was the first runner-up for his Post Card, Tanumoi Biswas won the prize of the second runner-up for his film The Diary, Don’t Open It. 

Haridas Chatterjee, who acted in Sound of Silence, was the Best Actor.
