The latest entrant on Park Street is a premium F&B product from Cafe Coffee Day — The Square. Covering 4,500sq ft, The Square is an 80-seater space — the sixth of its kind in India — that takes the philosophy of CCD a notch higher with more variety and upgrade in food, beverage, ambience and service.
Done in warm hues of brown and earth, The Square has an industrial vibe with long vertical rods as part of its decor and a metal-and-wood finish. Seating is spread out over the ground and first-floor levels. With a glass facade running throughout the length of the space, sip your coffee in peace as you watch the ever busy Park Street.
The Square menu has the regular cappuccino, cold brews and single origin coffee from CCD’s exclusive Kathlekhan range, alongside fusion and international food that includes small plates, big meals and dessert.

The idea behind The Square
“Over the years, Cafe Coffee Day has evolved as a brand and The Square is an attempt to highlight our consistent need and search for better service to our patrons. We want The Square to be a space where people like to hang out, be it for work or leisure. And hence everything, be it the beverage range or the food menu, and even the look and feel of the space, has been designed to cater to that idea. We chose Park Street because it captures the pulse of the city,” said Suneet Yadav, president, head of marketing, Cafe Coffee Day.
“Cafe Coffee Day had a lot of relevance when I was growing up. We used to hang out there a lot, and I always loved their coffee since I am a coffee enthusiast. Coffee is like a lifestyle and something like The Square helps bring in that culture into the city. The location — Park Street — is very inviting,” said actress Paoli Dam, looking pretty in red at the launch.

A correction. July 23, 2018
In an earlier version of this report, the Huddle Room's starting price was mentioned as Rs 180 per hour for the first four hours. The correct price is Rs 1,180 per hour for the first four hours. Also, the number of CCDs in the country is 1,722 and not 1,772 as mentioned earlier. The errors are regretted.
