That’s what DoubleU Bags — designed in Italy with its manufacturing unit in Jaipur — lets you do. 

The brand that’s all about customising bags, is set to open its first store in eastern India at Acropolis mall on Tuesday. DoubleU lets you customise bags with collars, straps and detachable pouches, while the basic material of the bag — polyolefin — remains the same. 

“The world has so much of design when it comes to bags that it doesn’t need more. What it needs is functional bags. At DoubleU, the material keeps the bag colour from fading, is water- and scratch-proof, light and stays lifelong,” said Anand Thirani, master franchisee, east India, DoubleU.
