Mumbai’s Isharya will be back at Stylefile with a range of collections like Empress Warrior, Bombay Deco, Infinite Petals and Angel Dust. What must you buy? “Our rose gold-plated hand-cut polki mirror pieces, our resin and mirror pieces from our Bombay Deco collection, and Japanese pearl and crystal pieces from our Empress Warrior line,” said Nisha Khiani of Isharya.
Duet Luxury was born four years ago as a “passion” project for Priyanka Baid and Shruti Bansal. “We wanted to create something new. Our USP is merging wood with any other element like leather, acrylic, embroidery or stones, which is why it is ‘duet’,” said Shruti. The Calcutta-based brand makes bags, customises for trousseau and is also into men’s accessories like bow ties and lapel pins. “For Stylefile, we are getting a hand-embroidered collection where we have used recycled wood,” said Shruti. Think bags, vanity cases and poker boxes.
Diksha Bothra, 23, is all set to debut with D’Zior Perl at Stylefile. The Bikaner girl is coming to town with her “jewelled” clutches and hairbands studded with precious stones. “I am super excited!” she laughed.
Taara by Sangeeta Khanna from Mumbai is getting a “wide range” of destination wedding jewellery. Expect “real pearls with semi-precious stones set in silver”. “We also use a little bit of Swarovski. There will be necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, maangtikas… all handmade,” said Nirja Trivedi from the label.
“Vistaara specialises in the unique and unseen… for this year’s collection we have focused on a traditional style of temple jewellery but using diamonds. We will also have fusion jadau jewellery,” said Akshay Sethi, partner, Vistaara. For the Mumbai-based brand, “historically, Calcutta is one of the most important markets as far as buying high-end jewellery goes”. And, they love coming back for Stylefile. “One of the best platforms to participate for exposure… fantastic hosts,” smiled Akshay
14MC: One for my Closet from Mumbai will be showcasing their range of 150 “colourful and happy straps” for you to jazz up your handbag. A venture by friends Tulsi Chellaram and Sunaina Vahi, the brand is just eight months old.
