Nayara Energy reports record quarterly gain of Rs 3,563.7 crore

Profit was up from Rs 409.5 crore in preceding January-March quarter

Rosneft-backed Nayara Energy has reported a record quarterly net profit of Rs 3,563.7 crore in the April-June period compared with a loss of Rs 139.1 crore in the same period a year back, buoyed by gains from the export of fuel made from discounted Russian oil.

The profit was up from Rs 409.5 crore in the preceding January-March quarter.

RInfra narrows loss

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) on Saturday reported a narrowing of its consolidated net loss to Rs 66.11 crore for the June quarter.

The company had clocked a consolidated net loss of Rs 95.15 crore a year ago. Consolidated income rose to Rs 6,349.34 crore from Rs 4,623.17 crore a year ago.

Coffee Day loss

Coffee Day Enterprises has reported narrowing of its consolidated net loss to Rs 18 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 117.28 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations climbed over two-fold to Rs 210.49 crore against Rs 81.52 crore a year ago.
