Honda on bike launch spree
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd on Tuesday unveiled the new X-Blade BSVI, extending its portfolio in the 160cc motorcycle segment. The other 160cc product in its portfolio is the Honda CB Unicorn.
The Japanese two-wheeler giant is aggressively launching products to create an excitement in an otherwise recession ridden market.
The company has so far launched four new BSVI products in June, including the CD 110 Dream, Livo 110 and the Grazia 125cc scooter.
The X-Blade is priced at Rs 105,325 and above. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director — sales & marketing, said, “The new X-Blade BSVI has features such as dual petal disc brakes with ABS, Engine Stop Switch and sports a stripe design.”
Kia Motors India has sold 50,000 activated connected cars in the country, including the Seltos and the Carnival. Kia achieved this in 10 months of its first product launch. Managing director and CEO Kookhyun Shim said, “Kia’s UVO Connect technology has brought about a change in the way owners engage with their cars in India. The Sonet will also have this feature.”
