New Delhi, Oct. 10: Outsourcing firm iGATE Corp today reported a 12.7 per cent rise in net income for the third quarter of the 2013 fiscal, helped by volatility in the rupee against dollar and a better-than-expected performance by its BFSI services. Net income of the California-based company rose to $31.9 million in July-September from $28.3 million in the same quarter of 2012. Revenues rose 8.2 per cent to $293.4 million from $271.1 million.
Mumbai, Oct. 10: The RBI today further relaxed foreign borrowing norms for banks under the recently opened swap window by allowing them to raise funds through their head offices and correspondents, besides overseas branches.
New Delhi, Oct. 10: RIL is close to taking an oil block in Venezuela that can produce as much as 10 million tonnes of oil per annum. RIL has signed an agreement with Venezuelan state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela, SA to jointly “evaluate the development plan for Ayacucho 8 block” in the Orinoco belt of Venezuela.
New Delhi, Oct. 10: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals today said its US subsidiary had filed a lawsuit in the Court of Chancery of Delaware to enforce its exclusive royalty-bearing licence agreement.
