The Grid in Topsia hosted a Taylor Swift Night on December 29 that saw Swifties drop by and sway to some of their favourite Taylor Swift songs, starting from the evergreen Love Story to Lover. Taylor had a rocking 2023, with her Eras tour becoming one of the highest-grossing tours recorded in history, and it was accompanied by a box-office-topping documentary, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (which also became the top concert film in history). Her songs topped the billboard, she was named Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year and she became Spotify’s most streamed artiste globally. However, her fan following goes longer back in time and we got a glimpse of the same at The Grid. Snapshots.

“Taylor Swift has been super inspirational to all of us. The Grid as a place is special to us because we’ve hung out a lot here and made beautiful memories. So, a Taylor Swift Night at The Grid had to be a must-attend for us. We couldn’t miss this,” said jewellery designer Vedika Saraf Bansal (centre). “We’re really glad that The Grid has organised such an event for us Swifties. We’re huge fans and we’re having a great time,” added Anchal Agarwal (left) and Natasha Karnani.

DJ Manish Shahi whipped an ideal playlist with Love Story, You Belong With Me, Bad Blood (ft. Kendrick Lamar), Getaway Car, Paper Rings, End Game (ft. Ed Sheeran), 22 and Anti-Hero on the roster.

Gaurav Karnani (director of The Grid) was accompanied by his wife, Ritika, daughter Krisha and son Krishnav. “Recently, we’ve observed a significant upsurge in the number of Taylor Swift enthusiasts and the ever-increasing popularity of her music. It prompted us to consider a special tribute to honour this musical sensation and offer her fans an unforgettable night out. The Grid extended a warm invitation to all Swifties, inviting them to revel in the celebration.
