Sudarshan Chakravorty’s Sapphire Creations Dance Company, eastern India’s premier contemporary dance company, completed three decades and the team celebrated the landmark at Lord of the Dinks. The evening saw a select guest set in attendance along with the celebrated choreographer’s friends and teammates. “It feels great to complete 30 years and we dedicate this evening to all the people who stood by us. Over 150 guests, part of the Sapphire family over the years, came from different districts of Bengal,” says Sudarshan who started a revolution to mainstream contemporary dance form in India.
