Jamshedpur, April 26: City-based Anujuman Taraqqi-e-Urdu Hind and Ghalib Institute, New Delhi, will organise a seminar on April 28 and 29 at SNTI auditorium, reports our correspondent.
“The seminar will bring together many Urdu scholars at the national level and give exposure to Urdu talent here,” said Sanjay Choudhary, chairman, Anujuman Taraqqi-e-Urdu, Jamshedpur.
The objective, said organisers, is to facilitate visits of renowned scholars of Urdu to the city and give language lovers a chance to discuss the subject.
Scholars such as Wahab Asrafi and professor Luftur Rehman of Patna, Rehena Khatur and Raza Hyder of Delhi and Sheen Akthar of Ranchi will be present at the event.
The scholars will present papers on various aspects of Mirza Ghalib’s life and work.
