I expect this government to accelerate growth and development which the previous government somehow failed to pursue properly. For us employment is the most important issue. The government must create job opportunities. I have gone through the election manifesto of the winning combine and they have promised jobs to at least one member of a family and sustenance to unemployed educated youths. However, NRC and CAA are required for the nation and I support the Centre on that.

The previous government failed to conduct even a single examination of the state civil services. Vacancies for the government jobs were floated and examinations were conducted, but unfortunately results are pending and questions were raised on each examination. Youths are desperate for employment and this government must address their concern. I believe this government will fulfil the aspirations of people.

The previous government had launched skill development training programme but it failed to fulfil the objective of employment opportunity. For youths employment is the only concern. We want the government to immediately start recruitment process. Trade and industry must be promoted to provide livelihood.

Education, health and employment are the three basic things that the government must focus on. If the previous government made a number of mistakes, it also took a number of good decisions. The election is over and I believe Hemant Soren is wise enough to carry forward some of the good decisions of the previous government. Hemant Soren should not forget promises he has made to youths that he will ensure employment for them.

I hope there will be no communal hatred in Jharkhand. There are a large number of vacant posts and recruitment drive must be started on priority basis. In principle, I support the Citizenship (Amendment) Act to grant citizenship to people from the minority communities of three neighbouring countries, but I doubt where such people will be settled. And they will definitely eat into our jobs and other facilities.
