Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday launched the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive at 48 designated centres with sanitation workers among the first to be administered the vaccine.
Soren was present at Sadar hospital in Ranchi where Mariam Guriya, a 31-year-old sanitation worker, was the first to get vaccinated followed by director of medical hospital Dr Vijay Mishra and others who were also given the vaccine shot. As many as 100 people will be vaccinated on Saturday.
