Hyderabad, April 17 :    Hyderabad, April 17:  Chandrababu Naidu?s Telugu Desam Party, which stood behind the BJP-led government till the very end, condemned the ?murky and immoral practices let loose? by the Congress to bring down the government. ?The alliance with the BJP is over,? Naidu told reporters today at Chilakaluripeta, in Guntur district. He is touring three districts. ?The question of our support does not arise now that the BJP is not in power. The Desam will sit in the Opposition,? the Andhra Pradesh chief minister said. The Vajpayee government?s defeat will have wide repercussions for Naidu?s party. The Desam had supported the BJP at the Centre to curb the Congress in the state and to ensure fiscal advantages for Naidu?s development programmes. The Centre cleared the World Bank package to restructure the state?s economy and power reforms. Naidu expects trouble from a Congress-led government over alleged diversion of funds from the Centre to finance the Janmabhoomi project. He fears it might seek his dismissal for deteriorating law and order, especially over the murder of former Speaker and Congress leader Sripada Rao. The Congress may also probe allegations of corruption against Naidu.
