Union tourism and culture minister Mahesh Sharma (left) addressed New Zealand Prime Minister John Key (centre) as “McCullum” at an event to promote New Zealand tourism on Thursday in New Delhi.  Brendon McCullum, who had captained New Zealand’s cricket team in all three forms of the game, was also present. Sharma was repaid the compliment minutes later when actor Sidharth Malhotra (right), New Zealand tourism’s ambassador in India, rose to speak but could not recall the minister’s name.
