She may get into trouble with the law faster than you can say LiLo, but when it comes to style, Lindsay Lohan doesn’t put a foot wrong.
The troubled 24-year-old starlet, who pleaded not guilty last week to allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace, wore a tight mini-dress to court, a choice that set tongues wagging on both sides of the Atlantic — and beyond.
“Look around this room. Everybody else has to follow the law. You are no different from anyone else. So, please, don’t push your luck,” judge Keith Schwartz told the Mean Girls hottie in the Los Angeles court last Wednesday.
The buzz was that Lohan’s super-short white dress made the judge see red.
While it may or may not have been the most judicious choice for the courtroom — an exasperated Lindsay lashed out on Twitter with: “What I wear to court shouldn’t be front page news. It’s just absurd” — the dress has managed to raise the temperature in the fashion world.
The Kimberly Ovitz-designed “Glavis Albino” sold-out frock is now hot property, with fashionistas clamouring to get their hands on it.
Fashion gurus have even likened Lindsay’s outfit to the little white number worn by Sharon Stone in the iconic crossing-legs scene in Basic Instinct (picture top).
