What are you wearing at this moment?

A high-waisted black skirt and a shirt with a bow — thinking of it, maybe I am looking like a schoolgirl!

How did you lose so much weight (she has gone from 86 kg to 56 kg)!?

Like any other normal human being! I ate no carbs and I just exercised. It is not easy to get to this weight but it is my job to look the way I look. It’s a very big effort.

Eating right. Anyone who says she doesn’t diet or wears no make-up is lying. We all work really hard on our looks. I can tell you that when I wake up in the morning, I don’t look stylish. I look like crap! Also, I am lucky to have the nation’s best talents to help me.

I love her to death! I love her style — she makes me look classy and sexy. She’s got a great boho chic look going, without trying so hard. I love her colours, her textures. Ever since she has known me, I have ruined her life! I behave like I’m her only client. If I can’t get through to her, I drive everyone in her office insane. Basically, I am a stalker!

Your reputation is of a real fashionista. What kind of a shopper are you?

I am a disgusting shopper. I love shopping. I am obsessed. I love things and I can’t help but buy them. So I do only two things with my money — shop and charity. I have absolutely no savings!

What style lessons has Saawariya taught you?

Sakina’s style in Saawariya is Sakina’s. It doesn’t have much of Sonam. My real fashionable side comes out when I do photo shoots. However, Saawariya has taught me a lot. The greatest thing Sanjay Leela Bhansali has taught me is that aesthetic beauty is not about cosmetic correction. It is about giving the right vibe.

And what is your look in Dilli 6 (Rakeysh Mehra’s film in which she’s opposite Abhishek Bachchan)?

Anamika’s doing my look but I can’t say anything more now...

Finally, if you weren’t an actress what are some things you would do?

Well, first of all I would acquire another tattoo. I love body art. I actually already have one tattoo on my hipbone — it’s a Chinese calligraphy pattern and I haven’t been able to get a second one because for shoots it takes too long to cover with make-up. Also, I would colour my hair crazy. On second thoughts, it looks quite tacky so maybe I won’t! Actually, being an actress shouldn’t stop me from experimenting with my look. So I will do what I feel like!
