Puja celebrations continued for participants of CESC The Telegraph True Spirit Puja, powered by Patanjali, in association with Senco Gold and Snow Park, with The New India Assurance Company as insurance partner, even a fortnight after Dashami with the True Spirit Puja award night at Vidya Mandir on October 13.

Three hundred-odd pujas joined the 15th edition of CESC The Telegraph True Spirit Puja to make Calcutta’s biggest festival safe, meaningful and happy for everyone. And after two vigorous rounds of judging, the final on Sashthi morning with a team of celebrity judges, it was time to felicitate those who made a mark with their efforts. Swastika rocked the puja look in a white, red and orange sari. “Most people are just concerned about the glamour and aesthetics of Durga Puja, but TSP focuses on the most important issues like the safety and comfort of the lakhs of people who step out during the Pujas. It is a movement I truly believe in,” said Swastika.
DUM DUM PARK BHARAT CHAKRA CLUB received the coveted True Spirit Model Puja award and a cash prize of Rs 50,000 from actress  and TSP judge Swastika Mukherjee, Arvind Gujral (far right), president, CESC, and D.D. Purkayastha (seventh from right) MD and CEO, ABP Group. “We are involved in various social activities through the year, including blood donation camps and providing financial aid to the needy people in the area. A large part of the prize money will go into that,” said Pratik Choudhury (fourth from left), secretary of the club.
