| I have very sensitive skin and I am allergic to both milk cream and fruits, so I can’t use these in any form on my face. While travelling if I am not carrying the products I normally use I apply sugar which is an excellent exfoliant. Besides that, I feel that yoga, lots of water and a good night’s sleep are essential for healthy skin. |
I am 15 years old and I used to have a fair face. However, after the age of about 12 my complexion tanned considerably. It is now dark in many areas. Please suggest a natural remedy that is suitable for my age. I have heard orange peel powder mixed with milk helps.

Yes, orange or lemon peel mixed with milk helps reduce tanning but you need to use a sunscreen regularly to protect your skin from the strong rays of the sun and pollution. Make a mask of 2tsp of sandalwood with 1tsp wholewheat flour and milk and apply to the skin. When the mask dries, dab with coconut water and scrub off. Also wash the skin with coconut water as it has great anti-tanning properties.
I am a 17-year-old girl. I have shoulder-length hair but it’s frizzy and unmanageable. I have tried using homemade packs containing egg and henna but it didn’t help. Please suggest a remedy so that I can get soft and silky hair.

Oil your hair twice a week with olive oil and follow it with turban therapy. Then apply 5tsp of honey to your scalp and hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo specially formulated for dry hair. Not only will your hair become softer, you will see a luxuriant shine as well.
