Fuel sales top levels in FY20
Sales of petrol and diesel in the first quarter of this fiscal have surpassed the pre-Covid level in Bengal.
Data obtained from the oil industry, which includes both public and private sector retailers, established that sales of diesel have gone up by 3.4 per cent while petrol sales were up by 17 per cent during April-June of 2022, compared to the same period of 2019-20.
