I love going to Bidar — a quiet town near Hyderabad. It’s a three-hour drive from Hyderabad and not a major tourist spot, but that’s the reason I love going to Bidar. The town has a historical past and one of its attractions is a Gurudwara which was visited by Guru Nanak once. In fact, you get to see Guru Nanak’s footprints, which have been preserved at the Gurudwara. I visit the place often for its peaceful and tranquil environment. I try to stay for at least two days every time I go there with my family and I try and make these trips at least three times a year. When I return to Mumbai, and to a hectic work schedule, I am a rejuvenated person.
