DPS Ruby Park hosted the eighth edition of its inter-school fest, Chrysalis 2019, in association with The Telegraph Young Metro. Students of 15 schools took part in Slam Dunk (basketball), Kick-off (football), Allegro (western band competition), One Minute to Fame, Inquizition (quiz), Let’s Make Money (trading event), Checkmate (chess) and Pitch Perfect (product pitching) among other events. Addressing mental wellness as the need of the hour, Mind Matters (an event based on psychological studies) was included in the fest for the first time. The host school emerged the winners while Sushila Birla Girls’ School and The Heritage School were announced the first and second runners-up. “The children are high on energy and this is a great opportunity for them to learn to work as a team,” said Joyoti Chaudhuri, the principal of DPS Ruby Park.
