Metro trains from 10am to 11pm on Durga Puja days

The last train for New Garia will leave Dakshineswar at 10.48pm

Metro Railway will run 204 trains daily from Saptami to Navami (October 12 to 14), the carrier said on Wednesday.

The first trains will leave the terminal stations at 10am. The last will leave Dum Dum and New Garia at 11pm. The last train for New Garia will leave Dakshineswar at 10.48pm.

Now, the first and last trains leave the terminal stations at 7.30am and 9.30pm, respectively.

On Dashami (October 15), the carrier will run 138 trains. The first and last trains will leave Dum Dum and New Garia at 10am and 9.30pm, respectively. The last train from Dakshineswar will leave at 9.18pm.

Tokens will remain suspended.

On Sashthi (October 11), there will be the usual daily fleet of 256 trains. The timings will be the same as what they are now.

On the Puja days, the trains will run at an interval of six minutes from the afternoon.

“We will keep some additional rakes on standby…. We will run the additional rakes if needed,” the official said.
