ICSE project marks to be uploaded by January 31

The council said that the last date for uploading marks for practical examination is February 28, 2023

The ICSE council, in a circular to school principals, said the marks for project work for Class X ( ICSE) have to be uploaded by January 31 by the institutes.

“The project work must be submitted by the candidates within the stipulated time fixed by all schools. The last date for uploading marks awarded to the candidates for the project work is January 31, 2023,” said a circular from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Monday addressed to heads of schools whose students will appear for the 2023 ICSE examinations.

The circular also says that the marks awarded to the candidates for all subject/s project work and SUPW (socially useful and productive work) have to be submitted between November 7 and January 31.

Last week, in a separate circular addressed to the heads of schools with candidates for ISC (Class XII) 2023 examination, the council said that the practical examinations must be scheduled between October and February 28, 2023.

The council said that the last date for uploading marks for practical examination is February 28, 2023. It is applicable only for subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, home science, fashion designing, Indian music Hindustani, Carnatic, Western music, computer science and biotechnology at the ISC level.

In the guidelines given for the evaluation of project work for ICSE candidates, the council said the projects submitted to the school could be handwritten, typed (in hard copy or soft copy) or as powerpoint presentations.
