Will Raje win, will Sachin Pilot win big?

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje of the BJP was in contest here against new Congress inductee Manvendra Singh.

Manvendra, the son of former Union minister and BJP veteran Jaswant Singh, was the BJP MLA from Sheo in Barmer till he rebelled and left the party in September. He joined the Congress in October. This is a fight of the Rajputs.

Tonk

Sachin Pilot's seat. The BJP’s Younus Khan contested against him. Pilot is a chief minister probable. So is Congress senior leader Ashok Gehlot, who has not campaigned in Tonk for Pilot.

Sardarpura

Ashok Gehlot has represented Sardarpura four times. He is 67 and in the race to be the chief minister. Sachin Pilot is 41 and widely believed to be Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s choice for the top job if the party wins big in Rajasthan.
