Popular Bollywood, Tollywood and TV stars — including Kajol, Jacky Shroff, Soha Ali Khan, Sayani Gupta and Rupali Ganguli — celebrated Navami with friends and family on Monday. While many of them spent the day at puja pandals, some chose to stay at home and offer prayers with their near and dear ones by their side. Here’s a look.
Jacky Shroff stopped by to seek blessings at the North Bombay Durga Puja pandal and had a chance meeting with old friend Kajol. The duo not only exchanged pleasantries but also engaged in a fun banter in front of the shutterbugs. Later, Kajol called Jacky ‘the best dressed and kindest man around’ in her Instagram post.
Soha Ali Khan spent Navami with her family members at home. Her daughter Inaaya performing the puja rituals was the highlight of the day for the Khan-Kemmu family.
Actress Sayani Gupta, who was earlier seen spending time with parents during Durga Puja, posed in front of a Goddess Durga idol on Navami, decked up in a golden sari.
Popular TV actress Rupali Ganguly, who’s a household name for her show Anupamaa, posed at a puja pandal with her mother, husband, son and choreographer-brother Vijay Ganguly, to mark this year’s Navami celebrations.
Raktabeej actress Mimi Chakraborty was all smiles and looked radiant ahead of her dhunuchi dance at a puja pandal.
