Did you know that sorghum, or what is commonly known as millet, has more antioxidants than blueberries and pomegranates? Or that amaranth was a staple of the Aztecs? Now you can also have your share of these grains at the Grains of Earth — Eat Good, Feel Good menu at Threesixtythree° at The Oberoi Grand. With items ranging from salads to risottos, the menu has been specially curated by chef Kezang Rai, senior sous chef at The Oberoi Grand, with grains such as quinoa, sorghum, buckwheat, finger millet, amaranth, pearl millet, oats and organic black rice.
“The present trend is to go back to our roots and consume healthy grains that were part of the regular diet, years ago. The general perception is that healthy food cooked with these grains is not tasty but we have given the Threesixtythree° twist to each of these dishes on the Grains of Earth menu and packed them with nutrients and lots of taste,” said chef Kezang.
