Welcoming Id with Chaand Raat at The Park

Friends and families came together on the last night of Ramazan for the Eid Chaand Raat at The Park on June 25 with delicious food, live music and some last-minute Id shopping keeping the mood merry.

A collection of over 20 stalls at the foyer of the banquet hall offered clothes, accessories, showpieces and even organic body-care products, with mehndi, hairstyling and foot massage booths inside the banquet. The mouth-watering spread comprised pakoras, bhaji, chaats, rolls, haleem, biryani, jalebi, firni, kulfi and more.

“The idea was to bring together people from all cultures and religions for this pre-Id dinner. Just like the Chaand Raat celebrations at Chandni Chowk in Delhi and Zakaria Street here, we wanted to offer all the experiences under one roof,” explained S.H. Rahman, corporate director, sales and marketing, The Park.

“We want to celebrate all festivals in a big way, just like Christmas on Park Street. People from different religions and cultures have come for this event, a perfect beginning to the Id festivities,” Rahman added.
