Timings: Noon to 11pm
Meal for two: Rs 900 including taxes

Grab a meal  before or after a movie at Masala Wok, an Indo-Chinese restaurant that opened recently on the first floor of the Hind Inox premises. The 54-seater multi-cuisine dine den is run by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and owned by Hind Cinema.

“We converted an old balcony into a 54-seater restaurant; the idea was to create a space where people could grab a good bite before heading off for their movie,” said Shivraj Jaiswal, owner, Hind Cinema.

The restaurant is open to not just movie-goers, but also to guests from outside. The menu is simple and reasonably priced, whereas the decor adds an upscale vibe to the place. t2 checked it out.

Murgh Dum Biryani: This is essentially Calcutta-style biryani, but without the aloo, and is served along with raita. Priced Rs 180-plus, you can pick from mutton as well as vegetarian varieties.

Shirley Temple: A picture perfect mocktail made up of strawberry crush, orange and pineapple juice, soda and topped with vanilla ice cream. Sip on one for Rs 130-plus.

Szechuan Tossed Chicken Dim Sums: Initially a part of the winter menu, this has now found permanent space. Fried chicken dumplings are tossed in a home-made spicy sauce and served with a cashew nut sauce along with burnt chilli dip. The dumplings are priced Rs 140, plus taxes.

Red Hot Drum Sticks: A little on the spicier side, these chicken drumsticks are tossed in a pounded chilli sauce with lots of garlic and ginger, adding the right amount of heat to the dish. Priced Rs 220 plus taxes.
