BJP details Modi's visit

Dibrugarh, Jan. 21: In his second visit to Assam this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Assam gas cracker project, before kicking off the South Asian Games in Guwahati.

He will also address the 85th conference of Srimanta Shankardev Sangha in Sivasagar and attend a BJP workers' meet at Moran.

Dibrugarh MP Rameswar Teli and leader Himanta Biswa Sarma, who held a meeting with party workers here to discuss the Prime Minister's second visit, said Modi would land in Jorhat on February 5 and directly go to Sivasagar to attend the 85th conference of Srimanta Shankardev Sangha.

"At 1pm, the Prime Minister will attend a meeting of BJP workers at Moran Polo field. He will arrive at Lepetkata (Dibrugarh) at 2.30pm to inaugurate the gas cracker project being implemented by BCPL. Modi will go to Guwahati to inaugurate the SAF Games in the afternoon," Sarma said.
