Event: ASISC zonal-level inter-school quiz competition

Duration: Around an hour

Special attraction: The quiz was conducted in two rounds, preliminary and final. Four teams — Don Bosco Academy, Carmel High School, St Paul’s Academy and International School — qualified for the prelims. In the final round, eight rounds of questions were asked, including two visual rounds. Don Bosco Academy emerged the winner and International School bagged the runners-up trophy.

TEFL Play School

Event: Foundation Day

Duration: Around two hours

Special attraction: A cake was cut to mark the institute’s foundation day.

The honour was done by two-and-a-half-year-old Hardik, the youngest child of TEFL Play School. The principal of the school, Hema, gave away gifts to all the children. She also talked about the importance of education and the role of teachers in shaping the lives of people. The schoolteachers also took part in the event.
