Missing duo return

Ranchi, Aug. 24: Two employees of Vananchal Grameen Bank in Garhwa, who went missing on Friday, safely returned to their homes in Daltonganj last evening.

Ranka branch manager Ramlal Ram and cashier Rohit Kumar Sinha had left the bank on a motorcycle on Friday evening. On the way, some unidentified people intercepted them in the Chainpur area of Palamau district. Later, their family members found their mobile phones switched off and approached police to find out their whereabouts.

Yesterday, both of them returned home on their own.

“They were not kidnapped and have safely reached their homes. But, it is true that they were detained by some unidentified persons,” said Garhwa SP S.K. Jha.

In a separate incident, an Ayush doctor Ignasiyus has been missing from his Chandwa home in Latehar district since Saturday morning.
