Till a few years ago, Maharshi College found itself in news mostly because of campus violence. Students fought pitched battles during union elections as the college authorities squirmed in embarrassment. But the institution has undergone an image transformation, thanks to its teams of daredevils, quite a few of them girls, who were cheered lustily as they performed stunts on their two-wheelers at the Independence Day parade. Bold and beautiful, these girls, most of them in their teens, stunned spectators with their balancing acts on scooters at the Lower PMG. The Telegraph spoke to some of these gutsy riders, whose passion for daredevilry is fuelled by three Ds discipline, dedication and duty
