Dhubri, July 13: Abul Kalam, 18, a resident of Howarapar village under Dhubri police station, is feared to have drowned while bathing in the Brahmaputra this evening, writes our correspondent.

Allegation: The Bilasipara district unit and town mandal committee of the BJP on Sunday organised an awareness meeting on the alleged corruption and misuse of development funds by the Bilasipara town committee. The Bilasipara sub-divisional administration has seized the financial power of the committee chairman, a source said.
