Imphal, June 20: Imphal Range thrashed Guwahati Range by 32-9 goals to lift the championís title of the third Inter-Range Ops Handball Tournament, organised by GC, CRPF Imphal, at Langjing.

The final match saw complete domination by Imphal Range as they scored at will. Imphal Range co-ordinated their moves well with H. Premananda scoring eight goals while K. Ibomcha scored seven goals. Y. Ratan and L. Dorendro scored five goals each while Kh. Chakrabati scored four goals.

S. Somorjit scored two goals and K.K. Singh chipped in with one goal.

For Guwahati Range, R.L. Minaís seven goals failed to win them the match.

Archery: The Manipur Archery Association will be inviting new clubs for affiliation, renewal and transfer of archers, including state transfer and registration starting from June 30 onwards till July 15.


The All Manipur Football Association has granted inter-district transfer to 263 amateur players for the season 2014-15 with effect from July 1.
