Police raid arrest

Patna: Police on Monday raided a hotel in the Khajpura area and detained eight youths and three girls. he police said the girls had been brought for entertainment from Calcutta and the police also recovered objectionable items from the place. The men have been arrested.


Patna: An 18-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the Kamarji village on Monday at 6.30am. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar and has got the firearm illegally. His bad performance in the Intermediate examinations is said to be the reason.

Patna: Anand Kumar, the Super 30 founder, on Monday released the list of 30 candidates who were provided coaching for IIT entrance examination. The result of the examination is expected to be declared in two-three days, Anand said.
