The results of this year’s CBSE Class XII examinations will be declared on Wednesday.
The notification was posted on the Central Board of Secondary Education website on Tuesday. Students will be able to see their results on the Internet from 11am.

The results of the board’s Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions were declared on May 26. On Wednesday the results for Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar (which includes Calcutta), Panchkula, Patna and Guwahati regions will be declared. About 7,000 students have appeared for the CBSE Class XII exams from Bengal this year, a source in the board said.
The CBSE Class XII exams started on March 1 and continued till April 17.
Some of the schools that follow the CBSE curriculum in the city are Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Birla High School for Boys, Sushila Birla Girls’ High School, Mahadevi Birla World Academy, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Apeejay Schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas.
The results of West Bengal Higher Secondary examination 2014 will be declared on Friday (May 30).
Government Railway Police arrested 565 free-trippers during ticket checking drives at Sealdah and Bidhannagar stations this month and collected Rs 1.48 lakh as fine. Similar checks would be conducted at Howrah and other stations.
