Workshop at Sainik School

Sainik School Tilaiya in Koderma district will host a national-level workshop for English and mathematics teachers from Monday. Mentors from 23 other army cradles from across the country will take part.

Principal Colonel V.K. Bhat said Tilaiya cradle — the largest among all army schools in the country and known for sending maximum number of cadets to the armed forces — had been selected by Sainik Schools’ Society, under the defence ministry, to host the six-day event.

“It is an honour for the school as well as Jharkhand to host this grand educational training. This workshop will help teachers update their teaching methodology and knowledge,” he said.

Bhat added eminent resource persons from NCERT and CBSE would impart training to over a hundred participants.
